Nature of This Resource

This is a private reference site, not an official Benzie County service. It does not hold government authority, store official custody files, confirm whether a person is in custody, release anyone, accept a records request on an agency's behalf, or file a court document. Only the Benzie County Sheriff's Office, the courts, the Michigan Department of Corrections, or another responsible custodian can take those actions.

The pages point toward official release-record sources, the Benzie County Jail, Michigan corrections and supervision systems, and federal or immigration locators when relevant. Some pages also connect visitors with outside research tools. Records obtained from a public office remain subject to that office's rules and Michigan law, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq.

Benzie County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or supply background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using the site, you agree not to use its pages, results, or linked material for:

• Employment decisions, including hiring, discipline, or termination.

Custody status, release data, court activity, parole, and probation records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Benzie County Sheriff's Office, Benzie County Jail, MDOC, a court, or any other public agency. Limits on Liability
