Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231 et seq., does not require the county form, but the Sheriff provides one. Most requests use the five-business-day response framework. The District Court handles misdemeanors and the early stages of felony cases. Its probation line applies to district matters. Felony dispositions and sentences belong to the 19th Judicial Circuit. A docket can explain a bond, dismissal, sentence, or probation order, but the Sheriff record confirms physical release from the jail.
